Great pasta We had a delicious no-fuss dinner with good wine at this lovely restaurant! The pasta and sauces are made in-house. We had gilgli (lily-shaped) pasta with peposo (peppery beef stew) and spaghetti carbonara. We ordered a bottle of wine which was great - much better and cheaper than the house wine that you get in other establishments. This is a great, good value option for hungry diners that like to eat early!!

Good lord above. The food is incredible (I had the peposo). A real hidden gem. Everything done to a high standard. For foreign travellers - go to the counter, and order to your table. The food is unbelievable. The service was a little bit shy, but not unfriendly. It could have been because my own Italian is not great. I recommend anyone come here. It is unassuming but the food is perfection

This family-owned restaurant quickly became our favorite spot in Florence. We came back almost every day because each meal was made with such love and care. The pasta was the best we had in all of Italy, and the warm hospitality made us feel right at home. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Florence!

Very nice food and fair prices. Lasagna was very cheesy and big portion. Peposo sauce was delicious, although not too much pasta. On the other hand, I ordered short pasta with ragu which (for me) had too much pasta and not enough sauce. All in all, we enjoyed the food and would recommend if you're visiting Florence.

Ordered a carbonara, fried calamari and tomato sauce pasta, very good food and was cozy inside. Paired the food with a couple of different spritzes. Will come back again!

Extremely tasty food! Our hotel recommended the place to us because they have a lot of vegetarian food and so we went there on a Saturday evening. The staff was really nice and helping us with an overview of the food they have because everything was typical Italian specialties and we didn't know a lot about the food. But in the end we ordered 5 different small dishes and Aperol Spritz. Food was ready really quick and the price was excellent for the amount of food we had.

Just had the most delightful hour sipping prosecco and spritzs, nibbling on friggitoria (fried basket of fries, polenta, sausage). Very reasonable. Perfect people watching, mainly locals, with the insanity of the central area near the Uffuzi.

Food was really tasty. It didn’t take long to get service. Went back another night for drinks and tiramisu. They were also satisfactory. Not an expensive place but we got our moneys worth. Would recommend for lunch.
